Mark Orr and my Mother had a thing going on for years. My sister and I used to hang with the other band members while they were "hanging out" sadly my mother went missing back in 02'. Last time I seen the band was a few months before she disappeared. He sang this song to her while walking on the beach in Florida.

I will never forget that night at Friday's in Nashville when I had a chat with Fred and Richard as they had a brake from a recording session back in July or August 1990. They were such nice and friendly guys and the band is one of my all time favorites no matter what lineup.

Anyone know whatever came of Mark S. Orr (Vocals) and Anthony Kenney (Bass)? This CD, "Rave On", was their only one with the Kentucky Headhunters.

not sure about the singer but Anthony Kenney played with the band until 2008 I believe. He played on five albums with the headhunters.

Aint it something that a great song by a great band like the Heads has a advertisement by some hoople head like Luke Bryan. I don't know who the hell Luke Bryan is but if 30 seconds of his music tells me anything, I would bet he is real popular on country radio today.

Where did these guys ever get to??!! They came onto the scene like gangbusters, then dropped out just as fast. Talk about one hit wonders !! And they were good, better than good, at least when they were playing !! Their videos sucked !!! Kind of like the Monkees !! Seriously, they were great, what happened to them ???!!!

I love this group, and all their music, but whoever put this video online and saw fit to include all the "pop-up" ads and such, you're a "sell-out" and you have betrayed the implied or hoped-for sense of integrity of posting on youtube. You sabotaged a great song/video for the sake of making a fraction of a penny each time this video is viewed by having some kind or other of distracting block of advertising pop up on the screen.  If it were possible and even remotely sane, I would reach through the online realm and grab you by the shoulders and shake you back and forth for the duration of this video you have contaminated with your greed for profit, and I'm probably being fairly polite in this statement.

I had my doubts when the Phelps brothers left, but they found a new greater sound with this new lineup..

I know all these guys I see them all the time they are from my hometown.....I am from Glasgow,Kentucky the lead singer Greg Martin lives in Glasgow and the rest live out a small hgway...small spot in the road called Wisdom,Ky and Randolph,Ky just outside Edmonton,Ky in Metcalfe County....Glasgow is in Barren,Co Ky. They used to get mauled when they was really popular at places like Wal-Mart I remember seeing Fred Young the drummer in Wal-Mart a lot he talked to my dad a local drummer.

Rave On was one of my favorite albums by the Headhunters. Mark Orr did a great job on it! I saw them perform at Taylor Co. High School in 1995 and they blew me away! The whole band are some of the nicest people you would ever want to meet.

That "big boy" has a name.. his name is Darren Long, he is from Butler Missouri, and is the nicest guy a person could ever know, and I am PROUD to call him my FRIEND!!

good ol Kentucky boy here grew up seeing them at all the local events fred is a madman on those drums when he gets goin. watched him go for almost 15min barehanded one time. Best thing to come out of kentucky EVER!!!

The headhunters are this old country boy from Arkansas best band and favorite band! I seen them with Ricky P and all the rest even met them in Little Rock and they are a bunch of good ole boys
