Someone asked me recently if I recalled my first live show. I told them my 63 year old brain remembers it as L and M at MSG at Thanksgiving time, 1974. In total,been to over 60 shows,either combined or solo.

Just heard this on Smooth Jazz CD 101.9 online. Was sleeping and heard Kenny Loggings voice but didn't know this song. Went right to their playlist and straight to YouTube to hear it. Banging this in 2020!

CD 101.9 played this song one day back in the 80's and it had such an impact on my musical life. This song has made me love the spring time. ever since then, i have been a fan of real pure music. Some music will just always make you remember the good times. This is one of those gems, man thank you sir. You've mad wit possible to smile with golden memories.

Loggins' Grand Canyon DVD includes the tune--gorgeous to watch, especially for Marc Russo's sax solo. When they hit the pocket in the bridge, the skies open, the sun comes out. The only CD you need in your car. Sing your heart out. I do. Luv it.

I fully agree Gary. Sweet Reunion is my go to song. I have the CD and still listen to it on Youtube, Spotify, Pandora, etc. This is truly an awesome song. Kenny's vocals are just exquisite.

The setting in the beautiful Grand Canyon and the band just gets so into this song along with Kenny. Definitely the highlight.

Love the Leap of Faith album, unfortunately when you see Kenny in concert he never sings any of these awesome songs from Leap of Faith. I see him every year in concert hoping some day he will sing Sweet Reunion.

I was so lucky to have him sing it in Orange County at a supper club! He passed by while singing it and I got to hold his hand. Didn't want to let go!

I saw him in 2010 and he sang the whole album.

tnttcv that’s a shame...we were fortunate enough many many years ago, must have been around 2005, he was on his way to Italy but made a stop in our tiny country: Holland!!! Bless that day!!! And he sang a lot of songs from this album. Some oldies too. He gave me a friendly kiss on the cheek during a lovely chat after his performance (.....or was I hysterically talking up a storm👀) Anyway...one of the greatest in my opinion ♥️

Absolutely adore Kenny Loggins!  Saw him open for Fleetwood Mac in 1978 and he KILLED IT !!   Bought this CD - Leap of Faith- in like, 90 ? 91?   fell in love with this song & played it TO a long, slow death.   :)    it gives me cold chills....  the lyrics are awesome and it's SPOT ON.... and that jazzy saxophone cord.... my oh my.  :)

I have loved Kenny Loggins music since I was a kid in the 70's.  I have loved all of it and my kids love it as well since they have heard it all their lives.  I wish Kenny would get the recognition as an amazing songwriter, singer and performer.  He deserves it.  Sweet Reunion is definitely one of my favorites.

I loved this song the first time I heard it! The ranges and bridges and that spectacular voice!! Kenny's the man ...and im a HARD CORE brother.

If you want to go up into the stratosphere, get his DVD Live From the Grand Canyon! DAMN! He and the band really take it to the top on this song! That one song is worth the price of the whole DVD but the whole thing is great!

I have loved his music for more than 30 years. i went to his crippled childrens society concert as the saratoga mountain winery when my boy was a few months old and thought how much i wanted to take him to one of Kenny's concerts. I went to three more concerts when he was too young. Now my boy is 20 and this august we go to the mountain winery to see Kenny together. My mother died in March and his song Forever always brings peace to my heart! I love you Mom, you'll always be a part of me!!!

Kenny Loggins was the voice of a generation. Actually he continues to reinvent himself thru his songs and always hits the mark. I just melt back in time when I hear this song and other songs of his. Kudos to an exceptional artist and vocalist!

There really is no genre this gem falls under, it is truly one of the most different, wonderful songs i've ever heard. To learn the lyrics and sing along is almost too much joy for the heart to take :D

My husband and I got together 17 years after we graduated from high school. He walked me home from school when we were kids. Then we kinda' lost track of each other. When we finally got together, this song was so appropriate. We used some of the lines in our wedding program. :)

I first heard this song on CD 101.9 back in the late 80's. Its amazing how perfect and moving these songs were back on those days. This sounds so TODAY like its new......Its really a shame that NOW we dont experience this kind of music here. We have compromised that music that you wanted to live back in those days when the song first came out. Its like it makes you want to be a kid again or an adult that had child like memories. This is the perfect song to reflect to. Kenny Loggins is the best.
