But my dad wasn’t going to be there. I cried to him and my PopPop promised he’d be there. He sang ate a little ice cream cake and and told me he loved me. That was the last day he was coherent. The day after he passed away. But he kept his promise.

My grandpa passed away last year and this song reminds me a lot of him. He used to tell us grand kids cute little stories he'd make up. One time, when we were camping out in the backyard, he told us he walked on the moon. He said, "If you look real hard, you'll see my foot prints", (talking about those dark patches). Well, that convinced my child mind. LOL! I believed it because Grandpa told me so. ;) Trying not to cry. I miss him so much.

He's been diagnosed with cancer agian and the doctors say he has less than 6 months..it's weird how when I was younger, I always imagined my grandfather watching me grow up and be successful. I always though he'd be here to see my husband, my children. But not I'm not sure. I'm 14, and I just started Highschool. I'm not ready to lose him. Not yet. So please, please pray for him.

@Hannah De Freitas Thank you. He ended up surviving the night but he left us last night. I'm not really sure how to feel yet. But I'm happy we got more time than we originally thought. I got to see him and talk to him before he passed.
