I was thinking about this song tonight, so I picked up my guitar and sang it. Then I wondered why I wasn't remembering the second verse. Well... that's because it's the same as the first! One of my favourite bands of the eightes! I saw them live at least four times back then.

you're quite right: it was the Waves. the KATW thing didn't really appear until later, when Capitol were involved (IIRC)

Thanks for posting this video of the band playing one of their lesser-known songs. This was issued on one of their two albums on the Canadian Attic label before they were signed by Capitol and rode "Walking On Sunshine" to fame.
WOW, thanks for posting this! Major Flashback as they used to play the NCO club at croughton air force base in the early 80's and I loved seeing them. This was the first video I have seen on here where the band was dressed like the Blues Brothers and this was their attire when they played our clubs. i miss seeing them and enjoyed the video.

My old drummer had this single and it knocked me out!! I may be incorrect but I seem to remember the single had them as The Waves... not Katrina and the Waves.. anyone else
