First time I've come across an actual video for this song. Absolutely awful...
I love Katatonia, they're my favourite band - heart and soul.

But I feel as if Jonas nor Anders had any input on this video whatsoever, it just does not resonate with the song in any way, shape or form nor does it bear any cohesive or tangible story. Nothing like Katatonia, infact I would say this video is the opposite of Katatonia as it bears no real truth or emotion.

But as I've heard the guys say before; they're not really a band that cares for music videos - I guess they're having to conform with Peaceville by putting out music videos..

I like this video it gives a gothic look. With a mysterious sad feeling towards it and oddly as it may sound i can smell the woods.

as generic as it is, it's well done aside from the going in to out of focus, it has a post feel about it instead of actually being done with a lens going in and out of focus.

it feels more well done towards the end.

i give it 3/5 feels, the song is 5/5 feels though. 

katatonia would be a few years behind the times on video though, those silly euros.

I love Katatonia's music with every fiber in my heart. But their music videos...meh. Kinda lame, unfortunately. The music is so grandly beautiful, so cosmically perfect...and the video is just a goth girl caught in fake spiderwebs. One-dimensional video for an infinitely-dimensional song. It's a shame.

Anyway, beautiful song. This is only the 3rd or 4th song I've heard of Katatonia, but I've been impressed by all that I've heard so far.

I hate it when comparissons with old bands come up here (pink floyd - porcupine tree. pantera - lamb of god comes to mind). I'm more of a modern music fan. I agree with what you said about them not sounding like any other bands.

Kat atonia sounds like no other band in the world today. In my humble opinion, they are arguably the greatest "heavy" band since Led Zeppelin, Their brilliant mix of hard with melodic is amazing. They touch my soul. Thanx for the add. Great song...great video!

Um....well ....Hate to say it but this is not good. Spastic and thrown together is the feeling i get from it. I thought this was a fan made video....owell, the album is absolutely awsome and hopefully they do "The longest year" and we can forget about this.

The video is not bad, just that the girl's out of place, the landscapes are beautiful (just look a 0:22 for example...) and images have great quality, is just the girl who' doesn't fit, too much teen-gothic thing.

Sure but it deflates the experience. A good video, with relevant artwork creates a certain mood. Sure, the music can stand alone, but it's a thrill to see artists in their respective fields contribute to a larger idea and create a blueprint for an atmosphere we as fans can experience. This video fails to do this, I think you can see what I mean...

Exactly, Travis Smith has been a great artist for Katatonia and for other lesser known legends such as Control Denied.

Everyone is right about this, it's an insult to the artistic integrity of their profoundly moving music. You know what bands need shit like this? Evanescence, Breaking Benjamen, My Chemical Romance, trash music like that. You know who's been here before? A Perfect Circle, but at least that had more class than a dumb goth chick with apparently constant vertigo.

Just Katatonia is consider the high style of music really contemporary, but such jerk people don't realize the fact that business are trough and Katatonia didn't care so because the glommy love of fashion has been overload...but we know how long this sickness is..

I'm glad people are finding this video intolerable. I am sick to death with goth-gives-menacing-stares-while-being-infected-and-turning-baddass type videos. We are not all this bloody immature, and it really is an insult to a great band like Katatonia to be sullied with such cliche melodrama.
Look at the artwork in the booklet for Viva Emptiness, those are the kind of images relevant to this constantly overlooked band.
