I'm now debating whether this CD is going to be higher on my favorites list than Tiamat's "A Deeper Kind of Slumber," and I never thought i'd have to debate whether something could top the #1 CD on my list. If you like stuff like this, it's worth a try.

the most mature album made by Katatonia in my opinion. Unspeakable beautiful rainbow kaleidoscope of colours ...in shades of grey. Jonas has a great voice but it's a shame that people only do appreciate his vocal craft and at the same time totally ignoring work done by the rest of the band!!! it's HARD WORK to perform the music in this way! just be aware... !

I've always said that Kataonia's music brings about a feeling of sadness. But a sadness that is addicting rather than hazardous. They make despair beautiful.
