@pineapplepeanuts No,it's pure depression at its best,as always!Listen more carefully to the Promise of Deceit,New Night,Liberation,The Longest Year,Forsaker,Onward Into Battle,Departer...They are so good at expressing these feelings,so they do it from many aspects.This album is one aspect,Night Is The New Day is another,Discouraged Ones is another,The Great Cold Distance is another and so on.They always do it so well (I am a bit disappointed with Last Fair Deal Gone Down,but it doesn't matter)
