Karen O - Nox Lumina Lyrics
Somewhere in my room
Sometimes, I don't lock the door
Every time I close my eyes
Someone else's paradise
Turns me into someone new, somewhere
Somewhere in my room
Sometimes, I lie on the floor
Every time I close my eyes
Someone else's paradise
Turns me into someone new (somewhere)
Somewhere in my room
Sometimes, I don't lock the door
Every time I close my eyes
Someone else's paradise
Somewhere in my room
Sometimes, I don't lock the door
Every time I close my eyes
Someone else's paradise
Turns me into someone new
Every time I close my eyes
Turns me into someone new

Brilliant song. The first part of this song has very much similarities with the first part of the song 'Pacific Dance' from State of House. Interesting to compare, I wonder if they took inspiration out of their song or that it is just coincidence they sound so similar :)

Pure bliss ♥️♥️. I need this so much right now.
Please tell us you're going on tour with such a perfect album <3 <3 thank you so much for this . . .
I cannot get enough of this beautiful lullaby 💖
What a journey! (deep relaxing sigh) ... Thanks for this! 💯
There are probably less than a half dozen albums from the last 5 years that I can listen to all the way through. This is the newest on that list. Absolute perfection.
Would you mind sharing the others?
@KarDiac kiD I didn't mean 'new' albums - I suppose I meant new to me. But I will say I really like Amy Ray's 'Goodnight Tender.' Alison Moyet's 'The Minutes' is quite good. I love Kacey Musgraves 'Golden Hour.' I'm talking about collections of songs on a disc or LP I can listen to without skipping a song. Beyonce's 'Lemonade' turned me into a fan. It's an odd thing, growing old...you think a moment has passed by and then you see the calendar has 20 years on it. Erasure's self titled 'Erasure' from 1997 holds a special place. Frank Ocean's 'Nostalgia:Ultra' is good from start to front. And of course there's my 'Best Of' Prince and Aretha that I can't do without. I sound stupid, I know. I'm just a music person.
yeah this is true... not sure on your tastes but SAFIA's new one is easy listening... and i love ONUKA's new one too...
isso é que é álbum

listen this album was an amazing journey, thankyou
Nicolas Arias couldn’t agree more!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Thanks, r/indieheads for letting me know this exists.
I think it's interesting that the two albums I'm really pumped for right now are this album, which I haven't finished, and Lexie Liu's new album. Both heavily electronic dream-like strong female-lead albums from big indie producers. Great music!
Sounds like Lux Prima. Pretty cool.
This is a magnificent concept album. Definitely listen to the entire thing and you'll hear those recurring elements in the two songs. : ) So moving.
