Bruh. I just found out the meaning of this song and while I was listening to it I started crying. But it’s the first time I’ve ever cried because of a song. Noah Kahan I love you with my heart and soul you changed my life.

After having an argument with an old friend, I didn't talk to him for a year. I recently found out that he tried to hurt himself, and ended up in the hospital. He's since recovered, and we've reconnected.

I implore all of you, don't hold your grudges. Make ammends with whoever you cut off if you can. You never know when they might leave.

I was gonna review on google but it wasn't working so here's my copy and pasted google review:
Absolutely amazing. Noah Kahan isn't capable of writing a song i don't absolutely fall in love with. All of his songs are very meaningful and if you're a lyrics type of person like me, his music is really great. But if you're someone who prefers a good beat, guess what? Noah has that too! His new album Busyhead is SO SO good. I don't have words to describe it. I've been listening to his music for almost a year now and i've never been disappointed or let down once. Not one single time have i thought to myself, "huh, i don't really like this song by Noah Kahan." I'm so shocked that he hasn't made his big break yet and been recognized as the phenomenal artist he is. That day will surely come soon though. Noah if you're somehow reading this, which i highly doubt, thank you for always putting your all into your music and inspiring all who listen to it and also, please come to Utah someday because i would buy tickets for sure. In conclusion if you didn't want to read all that i just put: This album is amazing, and yes "I did find everything i was looking for."

Does anyone know the story behind this?

I saw him open up for James Bay a few months ago and he talked a bit about this song before playing it. He said it was for an old friend who he had lost contact with the last few years. He found out his friend had died before he was able to reconnect with him so he wrote this song as a tribute to his old friend.

this song is so powerful and true. i can relate to the story of it, and I sincerely say that if this isn't a masterpiece, then I don't know what is. from the bittersweet melody to the lyrics, this is all just one of the greatest songs I've heard in a long time. thanks for sharing this amazing song with us
