when the sdtk went gold, hanley/etc got a well deserved gold album to put up on the wall

she was DEFINITELY the arguably hands-down best female pop/rock singer of the whole 90's decade. even better than a slightly better known major band the Muffs (who had pretty great vocals top to bottom).

Kay Hanley was an amazing talent. She never got the credit she deserved for her talent.

"real band" the soundtrack band is LETTERS TO CLEO, who were as real as it gets.

kay hanley/vcls, her husband mike/on guitar, same as LTC plus their AMAZING final lineup drummer (a regonal legend who's not on their three issued albums) and whoever whatever punched-in the bass guitar guitar tracks later. (probably right after cutting the guitar or live guitar/drums tracks)
