I'm such a big Josh Groban fan, i struggle with anxiety and depression and his music has helped me so much. the song 'you are loved' took me out of a dark place many times, since i've started listening to him i've fell in love with classical music and musical theatre songs like this. i covered this on my channel if anyone wants to have a listen :)

This song reminds me of my cat.
She was just a kitten. She was very playful and I loved her. I remember sitting with her on my couch on her first birthday, and I was really into les mis at the time. I started singing songs from the les mis musical to her, and I ended with this one. I left her sound asleep on the couch, serene and happy. I went to school and when I came home, she was gone. I searched around the house for her and I couldn't find her anywhere. I desperately asked my mom if she had seen her, and my mother told me that she had finally had enough of her and taken her to a shelter (To be fair, my cat was sometimes vocal and scratched things). I was devastated, and I decided the next day that I was going to the shelter to try to get her back. I was about to go, but my mom stopped me and with tears in her eyes she told me she never dropped my cat at the shelter. She a took a 30 minute drive north and abandoned her in some woods next to the interstate. As a 16 year old kid with depression, that just broke my heart. All of my friends had deserted me, and my cat was the only friend I had left. Its been almost 2 years, and of course I have long forgiven my mom and hold no resentment, but it still hurts to think about. It kills me that she was so young, and she died alone. For weeks after, I would cry and beg God to somehow bring her home, knowing deep down it would never be. I love her and miss her.....
