Anybody besides myself noticed in the very beginning of the video that there are two little boys one of them dressed as a girl holding hands and one little boy kisses the other on the cheek. It was very very subtle, quick, but far from coincidental. Rewind if you think I'm lying.

Might be a little girl with short hair. Many black females have androgynous or masculine features, hence the emphasis on serious make up and jewelry.

My God, what an optimistic, feel-good song AND music video! I remember watching this for the first time when I was in 7th grade. My parents just bought our first colour TV set and those green apples remained stuck in my head ever since - every time I think of Ray Charles, those green apples pop in my head, for some reason :). I miss those days, when you turned on the radio and you were spoiled by artists like Sting, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Lenny Kravitz, Richard Marx, Peter Gabriel, etc. who were churning out hit after hit...and we took this for granted. Now, you tune in to a Top 40 radio station and it's a cringe fest in there.

God I miss the 90s so many god memories especially this song "I'll be good to you" this is one of my favorites music now is nothing like it was back in the 90s.

Nice 1990 music video looks like it was produced and directed by the same people who did the videos for "The Whistle Song" by Frankie Knuckles and "Close to you" by Maxi Priest, etc. it even looks like the same set with the large white cyclorama wall and shadowed key lighting.
