Jones, George - We'll Talk About It Later Lyrics

There's a lady lyin' in your arms most ev'ry night
She fulfills your dreams and holds you tight
Is she pretty does she love you like I do
And do any of the children look like you
If she's good to you then I could never hate her
Just hold me close and love me and we'll talk about it later

Does he ever question where you go and what you do
Is he here with us when I'm with you
Does he look at you with feelings of distrust
And do you sometimes feel ashamed of us
This feeling that we found could not be greater
But I love you and it's okay we'll talk about it later

Lying here together there's no words we need to say
Just one touch says more than we could talk about all day
Time won't make it go away time just makes it greater
And as we go we both know we'll talk about it later
And as we go we both know we'll talk about it later

Why won't they record this in compact disk format ? The songs are beautiful .as are their voices .RIP George & Tammy.

She put a solo version of this song on one of her albums during the late '70s.  Did not know they also recorded it as a duet.

Yes, It was on the album "Just Tammy"(1979). I have to say I like the Tammy solo version slightly better.
