Johnny Paycheck - Something About You I Love Lyrics

There's just something about you I love
And I can't pin it down
Is it in the way you kiss
Or the way your hair hangs down

All I know is your warm woman's touch
Hold everything I'm dreaming of
I don't know why I want you so much
There's something about you I love

There's a message in your move
That's getting through to me
There's something in the way you look
That wakes up the need in me

I don't know what draws me to you
But I can't seem to get close enough
I don't know what it is that you do
There's just something about you I love

All I know is your warm woman's touch
Hold everything I'm dreaming of
I don't know why I want you so much
There's something about you I love

Was listening to some stuff I'd recorded on reeltape in 1986,including a Tammy Wynette, talking to Wally Wyton interview, saying that this was her favourite Paycheck. Got it on LP,but not digitally, tried all downloads, but all are first or second re-records,where his voice is going or gone AND Billy Sherill has left the building....so I'll just add this to my playlist, thanks!

I'd love to hear this interview with Tammy if you have a way to upload to Youtube

So many times I come across a gem like this, again to find ol Billy Sherrill has unleashed his talents on it.Just love his style.

There's nothing better than good ole classic country music. And Johnny's rarely if ever mentioned but i know this much he will always be in my music library !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Darn shame Johnny Paycheck is gone....This was a man that was truly talented in so many ways. His wild ways cost him his music career. I remember buying my first Paycheck album. I couldn't wait to drop that record on the turntable and turn it up. I will never forget the power in his voice, the magnetism of his music that drew me in. I have all of his formative years when he was singing his country stuff. The argument with some folks is they liked his outlaw stuff more than his country stuff.

When I think about it, country music peaked in about 1973 or 4.
