When I was young I remember a very lovely woman she was called Doris she was married and had a little boy. She was near her due date for the birth of her second child. Something went wrong & she died so did her baby. She loved this song & her husband had this played at her funeral. This was in 1959 I will always remember this beautiful gentle lady & this beautiful song.

When my grandparents were young teenagers in love, my grandfather wrote my grandmother a love note and at the end he signed his name and included “until the twelfth of never” They then spent over 50 years together until he passed away last fall. My grandmother to this day still has that letter and she cries every time she hears this song on her radio and I can’t lie, it brings me to tears too.

My beautiful Nanna passed away a couple of weeks ago and her funeral was just the other day. My Grandad had this played as her final song and it breaks my heart completely. As soon as the tune started he complety broke down and it killed us all to see. I now listen to this whenever I need a really good cry.

My sister was severely disabled with cerebral palsy, but it didn't affect anything other than her physical condition. She adored Johnny and this was her favorite song. After our mother died, we agreed that whichever of us died first, we'd send a message if it was okay on the other side. When my sister died, the message was definitely the color orange. I played this song and started crying, thinking of her and the next song started and there was photo of two orange roses on the screen. I looked up at my wall and there was an orange poppy photo and I turned to my left and there was a photo of my grandson with a huge, orange pumpkin. I know she was telling me she was waiting for me.

Since I were a young girl, my Mother love listening to Johnny Mathis, she says it reminds her of her best friend Novlan who was gay and they would listen to his music. That's way whenever he comes to our city, I make sure my Mother is at the Concert. Thank you Mother!
