Johnny Mathis - I'll Be Home For Christmas / White Christmas Lyrics

I'll be home for Christmas
You can count on me
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents on the tree

Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten
And children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white.

I have adored Johnny since I was 12 years old and let me tell you that’s a very long time. While I love his Christmas music, I love Johnny all year round. I just saw him here in Vegas in the spring at the Smith Center. He’s just as good as he always was.

  3. J.... J....

Merry Christmas and happy new year to you and one and all with love from the world and the world is listening to you And Santa Claus is Watching you

My children think of me and Christmas and they then think Johnny Mathis.

  5. K.... A....

Johnny Mathis's Christmas album was part of my childhood. His music was always playing. He has one of the most beautiful voices. ♥️🎄

The absolute best!! This song always goes right through me. My Uncle Domenick sent home a recording of him singing this song . Then my family was notified that he died at the Battle of the Bulge. I got tears.

I think you mean the Bing Crosby version which was recorded in 1943 and the Battle of the Bulge was Dec 1944 -Jan 1945 ... Johnny was born in 1935 and his recording was in 1958 I think. Both are fabulous performances.

Hi Malcolm. I meant that my Uncle Domenick made the recording of himself singing the song.

    M.... D....

@Malcolm Benn ,my Uncle Domenick made the recording of himself singing "I'll be home for Christmas".

hi Mark ... that really is a sad story and now I understand

I'm a musician and to this day it's very hard for me to sing I'll be home for Christmas. I never met my Uncle but he's always in my heart.

This song is probably what people who serve our country overseas sing.

With our love, we cando that. You have a car and you can drive. I will believe in Santa Claus again, if that could happen.

He is an amazing artist. I have loved him and his music since 1958. I have seen him 4 times in concert. My late husband took me to see him in 1962 at the Carter Baron Amphitheater. His music is timeless.

I think of my dear friend Rachel Appolinari as I listen to this song - knowing she will never be home for Christmas which breaks my heart. I miss you Rachel - forever and always.

I will never ever forgot the last day I saw you. You loved that handmade get well card I made for you, it was a honour to make it for you.

Miss you so much - the prettiest little star - taken far too soon.
