John Lennon - Hard Times Are Over Lyrics
It's been very hard,
But it's getting easier now,
Hard times are over, over for a while,
The leaves are shining in the sun,
You and I watching each other on a street corner,
Cars and buses and planes and people go by,
But we don't care,
We want to know,
We want to know in each other's eyes,
That hard times are over, over for sometime,
Hard times are over,
Hard times are over,
It's been very rough,
But it's getting easier now,
Hard times are over, over for a while,
The streams are twinkling in the sun,
And I'm smiling inside,
You and I walking together 'round the street corner,
Hard times are over,
Hard times are over,
Hard times are over, over for a while.

John Lennon Hard Times Are Over Comments
I was 20 in 1980. Crying like a baby when I heard the news. I came to love this album through Yoko. Thanks Yoko San ...You never remarried... That's reality!
Hard times are over Jhon, enjoy eternity in paradise
HAHAHA HOT DOGS
you all with your hot dog comments got me messed up man
Good Lord that is bad.
John Lennon has been missed but his music keeps us thinking of what great gifts he gave us in his music. No doubt the greatest musician in my life time who I miss daily. Rest in peace John. You are loved and not forgotten!
It's very sad to perceive that this song has turned into a ironic message. Saying "Hard times are over" only a few months before John's murder... : (
This makes me smile so hard bc at least John was happy at the last points of his life <3
bad yoko
yoko didnt do anything wrong
Hotdogs are over cannot be unheard.
+tojáska you have officially ruined this song for me xD
That makes it even more poignant and beautiful to me tbh. I've been eating hotdogs forever, finally moving onto something else. Later guys. <3
May you rest in peace John. 33 years ago today, we all wish you were here with us.
Yoko is still better than half the music put out today.
Come on... This song is John Lennon's song... It is not Yoko, of course...
+ifarias2000 she is the one who's singing, technically...

@carmen0981 we'll have to make do with hamburgers; I do hope they last a little longer.
