I love the fact they are actually friends. I think, even though JF is unique and irreplaceable, that Josh will bring a lot to the RHCP, it was time for them to change a little bit again, that was also one of the reasons why Frusciante left in the first place. Plus, I'm really happy he left, so we can enjoy his fucking awesome songs

i'm so happy john frusciante is gonna concentrate more on his solo stuff now. i'm sad he left rhcp, but i'm sure josh klinghoffer will do just fine. sure, he'll probably give rhcp a sound that they've never used before, but isn't what rhcp is all about, being different?

Yeah and he sounds like a woman in it. I actually thought it was a girl for the longest time.

@jimmyischill5790 He was never a guitar tech though. He toured with RHCP in 99-00 because he was with the band The Bicycle Thief who opened for RHCP. I assume he became friends with them and John, and since then he has been part of basically all of John's solo work. Helluva musician. The only replacement for John imo, can't wait to see what he brings!

Rethink what you said. The worst think for a band is staying on one line for years. I believe new input for klinghoffer will do good for the band. Secretly hoping they will get the funk back, wich they lost once somewhere round californication.

You REALLY want another album like Stadium Arcadium? All nice and stuff, but really SO NOT what i expected.
Not agree with me? Ask yourself, which songs do you listen more? Songs van Stadium Arcadium or older songs?

its not sad he quit people, it's his faith, he does what he feels. And i am very happy for him.

For the fans, I hope you are as happy as I am that Josh Klinghoffer just might replace him. Josh is a very close friend of John and the band, he's been touring with them, and playing rhytm guitar in the background. He's a hell of a guitar player!

I was desappointed when I knew that John quitted the band... But it is another page in the history of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, so why would it be bad?
And it is surely not easy for Flea, Anthony and Chad, consequently, we must welcome him with open arms for the moment, then we will make our own opinion about him.

I´m sad about John leaves the Peppers...it won´t be the same :(

I live in canada and you can get john frusciante records pretty much at any cd store. I don't see why it would be any different where you live, especially beacuse you live in a big city and I live in a teeny one..

Does anyone know of a record store in San Fran where i can find frusciante's stuff?
