C'mon all you folks under 35...so many comments about "the drummer". Amazing none of you know his name....may I introduce Liberty "fckin" DeVito. Stellar drummer that played with Billy Joel from '76 to mid 90's. He was a definite showman and most believe he was fired cause he took lots of attention on stage away from Billy. As solid a drummer as there is or was. Very animated and a joy to watch.
And btw....as Rick James says "Cocaine is a helluva drug." Would bet my mortgage most of the band in this video snorted a few lines before filming. Was pretty much the standard in the mid-late '70's for most performers. This video is from 1978/79. And....the song references cocaine anyway..."You had the Dom Perignon in your hand and a SPOON UP YOUR NOSE"!
