Great artist! Saw him with James Gang and the Eagles. Just glad he got away from Stevie because she would have killed him. Between the two of them there was no limit to how much coke you could do. I love this song and have to wonder if he turned to the drugs and alcohol because he never had someone to help ground him. So happy he's come out alive, married and with a family.

I began my appreciation of Joe with the James Gang. Great three piece band. "Hey" I said, "I can do that!". I've followed him through the likes of The Smoker I Get The Player I Am, and of course The Eagles. Now again solo...this tune means more to me than anything I've ever heard from him. My personal life was a wreck...until I, like Joe, gave up the party life and found something bigger than me. For me it was Jesus Christ first and then the family.
