Joe Cocker - Bye Bye Blackbird Lyrics
Pack up all my cares and woes
feeling low here I go
Bye Bye blackbird
Where somebody waits for me
Bye Bye Blackbird
No one seems to love or understand me
and all the hard luck stories they keep handing me
where somebody shines the light
I'll be coming on home tonight
Bye Bye Blackbird
Nobody seems to love or understand me
and all the hard luck stories they keep on handing me
I'm coming on home tonight
Bye Bye Blackbird

Joe Cocker Bye Bye Blackbird Comments
'No one seems to love or understand me' yup that's my life at times, he sings like he's really lived it, a sign of a good singer.
THE WORST GUITAR SOLO OF ALL TIME
So soulful! His love of Ray Charles really coming through on this one
Best version ever of this song, no argument. When it was first released I had it on rotation at home. The great Chris Stainton on organ.
This song just does something to MY SOUL!! 🙌🏾😌
OMG I love this song. Reminds me of my mom.
Killer heartfelt song! There's a little tribute to pink floyd Shine on you crazy diamond at the 02:08 mark.
Jimmy Page rifts on that guitar??
Fantastic! Love it in 6/8
Think Trump would be a fan? It would be his era.
betty davis Who cares?
Great song made even better by Joe. God gave mankind a gift when he gave us Joe Cocker !!! R.I.P.

Nobody seems to love or understand me
And all the hard luck stories they keep on handing me
Where somebody shines the light
Yes I'm coming on home tonight
Bye, bye blackbird (Oh lord yeah, I wanna sing about that black bird) Oh
Joe's best. And you can interpret that any way you like and it will still be true. Every note breath and phrase is cock on. Even the brevity complements the sincerity of the song. Less is so very much more Joe
The voice is made for this soulful tune.He is absolutely my favorite singer. I think his singing got better with age.more soulful with experience in life.
Cocker's versions of songs are often the best version of said song.
Is this one with Jimmy Page on guitar? Chris Stainton, or ????
who cares? it is Joe who is singing !!!!
Jimmy Page
love Joe
since I first heard him sing,
bye-bye black bird.
all are fabulous
grande Joe.
He is missed ... love this one with all my heart .....
He has no ego. Yes he is a man of soul and wonderful live.
well done! soulful and so perfect
yes jimmy page is playing guitar. he is mozart
I don't think I've ever seen any other singer put such emotion in his songs, just check out Woodstocks with a ill help from my friends, POWERFUL.
Jimmy Page played guitar on this session.
Wow that's an awesome piece of info, considering the Pink Floyd nod at one point in this song.
In his later years, he didn't have a reg band. He picked up local musicians for his concerts, I gathered that since at least two performances the band was playing using sheet music--I kid you not. However, with his performance, his voice--he cld have had a high school trio and it still would have been awesome. I'm glad I also caught his concerts in the early years too!
He was undeniably soulful. Such a beautiful song...
Joe could put 'feeling' into almost any simple set of lyrics turning them into a classic. Best ever for me. RIP my friend.
This is what you call singing. The emotion is raw. RIP Joe and thanks for sharing your talent with the world
My favorite one. #RIP Joe
RIP Joe :(
Saw Joe perform this. It was Awesome.
Anyone ever see him sing Hello Little Friend? Great song
love Jimmy Page's sound and feeling to play this solo. Great moment in the history of rock .
Superb photography, superb singing and nicely put together video. Thanks for sharing
OMG I just love to listen to his great vocals and his style for this song. Every note is so good, the guitar solo super, and the ending....hmmm good.
Thanks! Joe is one of those types where his emotion and heart makes up for everything else about him.
