Hi smile 4 smile, I did realize that and had to watch my mother suffer through stage 4 cancer, so even though one family member is afflicted, its toll is taken on the entire family. Only a family that has that situation can fully appreciate what i am conveying to you. It would be great as with cancer I need to tell her how she impacted the wolrd with out music, but with love all these years. This may have been the cassette-only "hidden track", but the Album album always had "Handyman" on it, with lines like "... I been waitin' / I'm sick and tired of masturbatin'" and "You come around / I can take it / I'm in your spell / I'm stark naked". Joan may prefer girls for the most part, but this *original* is clearly about a woman who badly needs to get fucked hard!

Thank you very much for posting this ... I had the "evil" cassette when I was 12, but have long since misplaced it. Of course it is better than the Stones's version. The best thing that can happen to a song is for Joan Jett to cover it!
I don't know where you got those lyrics, but they're pretty wrong in some places. It's "STARFUCKER", not "fucking star"! And it's "Honey I miss your TWO-TIME kissin'" ("two time" being slang for cheating or promiscuity). These lyrics are clearly referring to the Stones version, because Joan never sings the part about John Wayne, who was probably already dead when she recorded this.

She's one of the few who could get away with covering this! She punks it up! And now that's she's been out of the closet a while, the song takes on new significance! I  have both this version and the original in my Stones playlist. Thanks for the upload!

I don't mind how you feel about Keef and Taylor (I bought Keith's solo album myself), but Joan Jett is a more than "okay" rhythm guitarist. She's one of the underappreciated greats of an underappreciated art. Nobody ever says "Gee, John Lennon was a great rhythm guitarist", even though he was. In rock music, the rhythm guitarist leads the band. She keeps it all together (In R&B or soul music, it's the drummer and bassist who keep it together.)
Also, if you ever watch a clip of her in concert, you'll notice she sounds pretty much like her records -- unlike another band we're already discussing here.
