No visual artist credited here? That doesn't seem like the way Cale did bid-net when he was alive and recording...Check his records where every part of that carefully crafted mystique carried a credit! Except mebbe the horn somewhere in NATURALLY's ether...

Couple of Cale oversights while he was alive near as I can find is he'd never mention the deep delights of "AFTER MIDNIGHT" as covered by Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66 on early A&M FOURSIDER. That horny horn being Herb Alpert with other Tijuana Brass and his wife the tasteful vocalist Lani Hall. So much closer to Cale's writerly charms than Clapton's better known beer commercial covers. Also hope the Public Radio Labor Day weekend in the 1990's broadcast of BLUES STAGE from Telluride high rockies and very high narrator Melvin Van Peebles doing the intro and segues of Cale and Band's most memorable set, gratefully caught off the air onto cassette for many highly appreciated ongoing pleasures. Also, can't find Cale mentioning the #8 outtake instrumental of Percy Mayfield's "Hit the Road, Jack" kept off the album apparently by Dutch record execs...Mebbe even a Percy Mayfield collaboration or Cajun Cale record lounging lazily somewhere in those grassy vaults?

Perhaps all in the fullness of time?

This man ...not from our planet..our Solar System...our Galaxy..our Universe...beyond SpaceTime as we know it the way Einstein explained it. What else can I say. Signature soundtrack to the last 40 years of my life...since 1979..

Best song (just my opinion) of this new-old album, and a very good video. Thanks to all friends who made this album (Christine Lakeland...). I'm a long time fan of J.J. and I appreciate a lot to ear those new released songs. This is the genuine master's touch and coolness.

My favourite too..Its in my top 10 Favourites..! Blue Bird, Slower Baby. Everloving Woman, and this ranks up there too..!

The term that comes to mind about this song is"silky." Rather more subdued than most of JJ Cale's songs - but still with that "groove" that Cale is the master of - and mixed nicely with the orchestra very much in the background. It doesn't mater what musical setting you put JJ Cale in - his production nails it every time!
