Jennings, Waylon - What You'll Do When I'm Gone Lyrics
Staring at the door
Every night I'm thinking more and more
About walking out that door.
I know some day I will
I know someday I will.
As right as we were we are wrong
Nothing's going to change what we've done
The only thing that keeps me from going, babe
Is wondering what you'll do when I'm gone.
There's somethin' in your eyes
I swear your eyes are tellin' me goodbye
Goodbye is in your eyes.
You can call it pride
But my thoughts of someone else here by your side
That's killing me inside.
As right as we were we are wrong
Nothing's going to change what we've done
The only thing that keeps me from going, babe
Is wondering what you'll do when I'm gone.
Staring at the door
Every night I'm thinking more and more
About walking out that door...

Jennings, Waylon What You'll Do When I'm Gone Comments
If waylon was still alive he'd be kicking the shit out of R&B and HIP-HOP without question.
Lmao wtf waylons influence was R&B, plus u cant tell me living legends isn't a rap country song. U ain't a true waylon fan if u dont know this
@boston bault hahah i think his influence was more reggae than R&B. his versions of reggae songs stick in my mind. His version of the classic Love of the common people was better than the original. Any song that waylon covered was better than the original, like when he did bruce springsteens song i'm on fire.
@Curtis Gough ok but what does what that have to do with my comment
When i say R&B i mean UK R&B which is called dubby. You must understand that for someone that gets tortured with dubby shit everyday of their lives but then hear pure gold like waylon jennings, it is a blessing for me to even find out about the outlaw LMAO. Talking about country rap the song i'm obsessed with right now is outlaw shit. Both versions. That is a banger.
Ah, back when country was country!
This guy can sing any brand, kind, description, of song, and nail it!!!
Love it, especially the ending
