Like most of the songs on that great album, I wish I could hear the band jam it out at the end for a few more minutes. Waylon and the boys were too quick with the fade out. I guess that's what happens with a big stash of Mr Shaver's songs and only two sides of vinyl.
Everyone has an "Omaha" in his/her past, whether in the mid-west or any city in the world. "I guess I never really left at all . . . "

Wonderful song. I lost the CD years ago and haven't heard this for years. Waylon's friend wrote the music and this song but I can't remember his name.
