How can you tell? Because in Sarah's video I just saw, you couldn't hear her actual voice over the reverb. I mean, I don't think they could have thrown in more reverb if they had tried. And my guess is...they DID try.

She didn't say that the piece was written by L. Fabian, but the lyrics.

it is Albinoni's Adagio with inconsistent with "Adagio = slow tempo" lyrics. This is made to a song centuries after Albinonis death

jim morrison, had his poem "a feast of friends" and this song combined. it's beautiful if you can find it. it was on the "american prayer" album.

When Katherine toured this past spring with IlDivo they had to work hard just to keep up with her. Love IlDivo ,but Kath does it much better as a single female mezzo voice rather then a foursome of men. Kath also was training for the London Marathon while on that tour.

Nothing wrong with her pronounciation etc. in this performance, but I think Katherine Jenkins has sung this without properly understanding the lyrics. It's intense - the fact that she's sitting down is half the problem. This ain't no bloody lullaby! Put some guts into it!

And it's not adagi-ooh, it's adagi-O. I hate the way most mezzos and altos tend to overly round the sound so much, that it turns into the wrong sound.

Katherine does a beautiful redition of this song. I understand Italian fairly well and could follow her pronuciation. I really love the pionist John Smith as he adds so much to the performance. I watch this video every night before bed and love it more each time.

lara fabian does a better job with this song-maybe because she is half Italian
