I started listening to this song a few years ago. My son is addicted to drugs, has been for years. This song helped me then and helps me now. My son is now going to prison. Without God, and songs like this to give me strength and courage to keep going, I wouldn’t be able to keep moving, breathing, living.

i hope my story can help you. about 2 years ago, my mom left my dad for my brother's dad that she had been with before she met my dad. i was very bitter, against my mom, and that man's family. my mom filed for divorce, but every time she went before a judge, she was dined the case, because she was filing without kids, when she really had 2 kids, and one on the way. on my birthday, i refused to go to the house that she was living in at the time, so instead, we met at my grandparents house. shortly after that, my mom was considered an unbeliever, and prohibited to go to the church that me and my dad were going to. when she got the letter, her 'boyfriend' laughed, and thought that was the greatest thing that could ever happen, but when you get disconnected from your home church, that is very serious. about a month afterward, she moved to her sister's house, where my new baby sister, Anna Grace was born. as soon as she could, my mom moved back to live with my dad and me with the newest addition. without God, there would have been no possible way that a simple letter could have changed my mom's mind about living and marrying a man that was abusive, a drunk, and worst of all, an unbeliever. once again, i hope this can help prove that God exists.

He has brought me through many crisis'...several times I should have been killed, but i am still here, at age 73. I feel God loving me through His Son Jesus! I truly believe Jesus is my Savior; I deserve Hell. He took my place. Due to strongholds from my abusing past, I do struggle with accepting the amount of love God has for me...He would have died if I were the ONLY human on Earth. I do not feel that special much of the time but I am, with the help of Christian counseling and dedicated friends, believing it more easily! Keeping God close in my life , reading His Word and other great books, spending time Loving others as at the nursing home, help! Having a thankful heart, counting my Blessings (look at all those suffering and dying elsewhere for their Faith) are what I am working on. Having Heaven to look forward to....John 3:16 Isaiah 41:10. I usually dont comment, but I felt compelled to. I love this song! I cry every time I hear it. I've been through so much these past 3 years...well my whole life. But almost 3 years ago when I lost my son due to complications at birth and being in an extremely abusive relationship...all I wanted to do was die and I tried to do it myself, but I'm still here. This song helps me. It gives me hope. And even though I still feel like giving up, I still haven't lost hope.
