I’m just seeing this video, I relate to this video on a very very personal level. I was little when my parents divorced but I remember every bit of it. I’m one of the very few many to have their parents get back together. But I still went through all this. It was one of the hardest things for a child to go through. I’ll never forget running after my mom when she drove away, I’ll never forget huddling next to my sister as we listen to our parents fight in the garage. I’ll never ever forget it, I wish I could but I can’t. Things do get better tho❤️ I’m here for anyone who needs help❤️❤️

Ugh okay I’m gonna rant about my life ig . So my parents went separate ways since I was 6 months old and ya I’ve been going back and forth for years and things were fine when I was little now it’s just crazy since I’m 12 now my family just doesn’t like the other and it’s hard and I wanna be with my dad and I asked my mom that and she said no then grounded me and my dad wanted to take my mom to court and ask to keep me and my mom never knew and he was scared to do it so I’m with my mom now things are fine but Christmas is coming up and I still don’t switch holidays (you’ll get it if your parents aren’t together it’s we’re your trade off every holiday) but Ming don’t my mom won’t let me but this year I get to see them during the night and at least I get that 🥺💔😕

Who as kids a few days before Christmas would be sat there nearly crying begging santa for your parents to get back together. Hoping for that miracle. Its hard for anybody to go through it, it's so hard 😢

I come from a broken home and I cried

My parents divorced when I was 7 years old and I know it was for the best but having one of my earliest memories being the cops coming over to my house makes me think twice. I remember my dad sobbing on the couch with a police man talking to him, so I go over to my mom and tell her that he’s crying and she straight up says, “Good. He should be.” To this day that is the only time I have ever seen my dad cry.

This is a really sad song my dad died when i was a baby and i was never able to meet him but all 9 of my siblings did and because my dad died 4 of my siblings don't know i exist and don't visit my mum or other siblings its sad really

Literally 2:13 to 2:23 happened for me, the only difference is that I didn't run, and I didn't put myself in the middle of the street to watch my dad go, I just stood in the door, I watch him go, he look at me through the mirrow, I dont know how to describe his face, I didnt cry, I wasn't sad, my sister were crying, doing exactly the same on the song, but I just try to console my sister, at the end I wasn't sad because inside I was angry, because I though "I wont cry for someone who doesn't want me, doesn't want to be here" at the age of 8....

And at the same time I stop crying because for me that was for weak people, I kept myself in that way until 13, there was too much hate in my heart to keep holding, since the age of 8 it has been a long way to be the person I am today, but still I have a little bit of pain from my dad and now Im 23. My parents divorced nine days after my 7th birthday. This was posted on my tenth. I only heard about it today, crying in my room because it still hurts and I don’t want to be here anymore. My mom and stepdad are fighting, and it just hurts more and more everyday. And the fact this is in the perspective of an older brother to a younger sister.... especially when he looks around 12-14 and the sister looks around 6-8.... that was us. My brother was 12, I was 7.
