Yesterday on November 3, 2019. My grandpa passed away. During my childhood he was my best and only friend. I remember being bullied in elementary but I never cared cause I knew I would see papa on the weekend. When he would take me home or when we were hanging up from a call he would ALWAYS say cya later partner because he believed goodbye was only meant to be said once. This was our song. Every time I was with him this song would be playing. I’ll miss you forever partner. Cya later.

I feel a relapse coming on.
I remember as a child my family went to one of those tourist family variety shows in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Well during the intermission they chose about 10 kids under 12 from the audience to come up on stage and show off their “talent”. All the kids sung, danced, or told a joke. My sister and I were among the children chosen. We both sung our favorite songs. I remember singing “The way you love me” by Faith Hill. I was around 9. Well my sister who was around 6 is overly excited and grabs the microphone from me as soon as I’m finished and belts out “Pop a Top” by Alan Jackson so proudly and loud without missing a lyric before the host takes the microphone away from her chuckling. You wouldn’t believe the laughter coming from the audience watching my innocence little sister singing this and telling the audience it was her favorite song. My dad never laughed harder himself. My mother’s face turned so red. It was hilarious and I’ll never forget it.
