Jackson, Alan - Ain't Your Memory Got No Pride At All Lyrics
I woke up with her in my arms this morning
God knows, I love her over all
She whispered she loves me, your memory appeared
Ain't your mem'ry got no pride at all
So why can't you let bygones be bygones, and be gone
You always find the wrong times to come around to call
Ain't your mem'ry got no pride at all
Ain't your mem'ry got no pride at all
So tonight I lay here touching her sweet body
And the good familiar feeling I recall
She whispered she loves me, your memory appeared
Ain't your mem'ry got no pride at all
So why can't you let bygones be bygones, and be gone
You always find the wrong times to come around to call
Ain't your mem'ry got no pride at all
Ain't your mem'ry got no pride at all

Wow!Its my first time to hear this song from Alan Jackson..pure country...<3 it.. Your avid fan from Baguio City.
Merle Haggard's version of this song is by far the greatest! Then George's takes a few more listens until one realizes that his is great too. Ray Charles does an excellent version as well with his fantastic phrasing.
But no one does Ain't Your Memory as good as Merle Haggard did it.
I've never heard anybody else sing that song but Alan Jackson.
