Went to the concert in 1976 Harvest of World tour with Rose Royce opening and Wild Cherry I was about 12 years old Ernie was absolutely amazing!! Never forget the Isely sound!! Chris master keyboard playing, Marvin thumpin the bass!!

I saw them at San Diego Kool Jazz festival in 1975. I was 12.. First and one of the best concerts lve ever been to. Also saw them on their last 3+3 your in 1983.

The Isley Brothers were versatile back in the "3+3" era. The instruments, the vocals, whether you wanted to get up and dance, or "cozy up" with your significant other - nobody did it better than Ron, O'Kelly, Rudolph, Marvin, Ernie - and Chris Jasper. Man, were they great!

The Isleys would have been legendary even if they focused simply on the mellow side of their creativity. How many bands can say that? They were legendary at every type of music they created.

Still smooth as hell in 2019... Ron with those vocals and Ernie Wow is all I can say. 💓 #childhoodmemory
