Heard this jam as a little boy (Late 80s) n I was hooked from the opening sound. Music like this has kept me calm and cool n outta jail r dead at an early age. U can't think about violence at all listening to tracks like this. God bless the isley 4 blessing mankind with their music.

Hey Jeffrey, God rest their souls? Only Marvin and O'Kelly are deceased. Chris left in the 80s and Rudolph retired. Ernie and Ron still tour as The Isley Brothers.

Don't write them all off man.. The only ones that are deceased (as Noel Z. Wiseman) pointed out are O'Kelly and Marvin.. (and Also Vernon Isley that died long ago). Ron and Ernie still tour. Chris Jasper has a new Gospel/Christian solo album out and I believe Rudolph still preaches

I am from the younger generation.. most of the time when I attend Isley concerts I'm one of the youngest if not the youngest at their shows but I know more about the Isleys than most older fans. Look there are Plenty of talented hip-hop artists in 2019 and plenty of talented RnB artists.. they most talented ones are not the ones that are saturated all throughout BET and popular radio. They did a grand slam on this track it was very hot in Chicago during late summer months you would hear it playing in about every 5 cars that pass you on the road. Classic Great Track !!!!!!!!!!!!! A stepper Cut in Chicago as well.

This is one of those songs you just have listen to from time to time, it just come to you and just have to put it on jam to it!!

Grand Slam is my fave Isleys album, and this is possibly the standout track. I dunno why it never got much plaudits, it is such a perfect combination of catchy, funky, cool, monster choons!

These guys combined classic soul with funk and made both better. Just great musicians.

One of the greatest family funk groups of all time, The Isley Brothers. I was in the 9th grade when this song came out. Makes me think of the good ole days. The 80s is a decade to remember.
