So, I don’t usually leave comments, but this song just does something to me. My Grandma passed away a month ago yesterday, and this is her favorite song. Even before she passed, this song always reminded me over her. I would always flash back to when I was younger and we’d take long car rides out of town, and she’d play the easy listening station, and when this song would come on, she’d sing along. To this day, as soon as Ron opens the song ‘Drifting on a memory, ain’t no place I’d rather be than with you’ I can hear her voice singing along in my head. Now that she’s passed on, this song just makes me cry every time I hear it, I have it on my iPhone and I’d skip it as soon as I hear it, but this morning I’m happy while listening to it, getting ready for the day and flashing back to all of those great memories I had with the most important woman in my life. My point is, music is so powerful, it can break you, heal you, and tell your story better than you can. 💖 Much love to you all. Be sure to call or text your loved one and let them know.
