I've seen IM a few times (but not for about 20 years!) and I'm a UFO fan as well can't remember them coming on to this. Strange how an old band might NOW use a song from another old bad as an intro when they didn't before :)

A vida é uma caixa de surpresas, quem diria que em 2019 eu iria aprender uma nova música que estava lá no fundo de algum baú de algum universo músical.

Blaze caprichou nos vocais!

Pra quem não sabe essa música é de uma banda chamada "Ufo" grande influência pro Maiden e uma das pioneiras do movimento. Essa banda já teve integrantes que foram pro motorhead e scorpions, inclusive o scorpions também gravou essa música, procurem no you tube vale a pena conferir. Sobre o Maiden abrir o show com ela, isso não é novidade pessoal, não sei ao certo quando eles começaram a fazer isso, mas já fazem no minímo desde 2014, é só vcs procurarem o show " rock am ring" 2014, eles abrem com ela, e diga-se de passagem foi uma das melhores apresentações que já vi, como tocaram bem todas as músicas. Pirem na interpretação do Bruce na Seventh son of a seventh son. Abraço a todos e up the irons!!!

@TheQuedolaomer Eu gosto da era Blaze, porém somente no estudio, pois no ao vivo realmente não estava dando...mas é aquele negócio, as músicas que ele gravou, ele mandava bem no ao vivo, mas quando tinha que cantar músicas do Bruce, era um desastre total. Cara no final das contas, acho que tudo isso foi importante pra história do Maiden, pois ganhamos grandes canções naquela epoca, que foram compostas pelo Blaze e quando o Bruce voltou foi épico e a formação voltou com mais força do que nunca, ocasionando aquele movimento animalesco na nas turnes de 2001 e principalmente no rock in rio onde todos ficaram na expectativa de ver a volta do Bruce e do Adrian, tudo isso só engrandeceu a história da banda e também do Bruce, e assim também fomos agraciados com músicas da carreira solo do Bruce!

Great version of this song. Blaze has a voice similar to Phil Mogg.

Iron Maiden is one of my favorite bands but UFO's live version (with Michael Schenker) from the album 'Lights Out' can not be equaled.

I never said it equaled the original. Rarely is a cover better than the original version and in the case of this song, it's not better. Blaze Bayley is just always getting flak about his vocals. Yes, his voice is not the same as Bruce's. But after listening to this, his voice has more of a Phil Mogg style. And that's not saying his voice is better, just in the same range. No cover song is meant to try to compete with the original. Its more of a tribute to the original band. And most of us know that U.F.O. is one of Steve Harris's favorite bands.

Every maiden gig i go to I have to say the crowd go mad when this goes on.. as do I.. the maddest I seen it get was in Dublin Ireland 2017
