Takes me back to my senior year. This was the last of ‘alternative rock’ both being ‘alternative’ and ‘rock.’ This band, namely this album never fit into any genre, but used so many different elements of various rock genres. I nearly forgot how awesome and fun this album was!

i think the point of music is that its open to interpretation, my interpretation is that this song is at least partly refering to dirk lance - their old bass player. i love old incubus so much but i think ben kenney added so much to this band and kinda sent them in a different direction. i love how you can hear them grow as musicians on every album, def my all time favorite band

This is most certainly one of the most unique alternative rock albums of the decade...it's very nearly perfect. I prefer Morning View, but they are stark in contrast, and both are outstanding.
