I had watched over Illenium mixes since i first enjoyed her remix “ mine-phoeboe ryan”, and her remixed songs at any time capture me as well as this song does when it first was released

This song brings me back to my past when I first started getting into music and this is one of the first songs I would listen to. Back then I was struggling mentally so I used music as my escape from reality and everything that had happened to me. So listening to this makes me remember those times but also when everything was simpler. Now my mental health and self esteem has gotten better but at least during those times I had such less worried than I do now. I didn’t have to worry about school or my future. Now I feel like the weight of the real world has begun to sink in and I just miss the days when I was carefree and I didn’t understand why people always stressed over things.

Emi boi damn boy! Are you a carbon copy of me or something? I’m literally the same. Listening to this now brings back so much nostalgia, brings all the memories of everything i went tru and i can just laugh about it, im so much happier than before. This song is just t o remind me what i felt when im at the lowest, and reminds me that, i should just relax and keep smiling. You sir, did well battling mental illness. Im proud of you.
