I never saw MTV play this video just that grunge and gangsta rap shit. In high school from 92 - 95, I think I was the only Billy Idol fan while everybody was into Gangsta Rap, R & B and Alternative music like Grunge.

This album went great with X-men comics back in the early 90s: the show helped too.

Most underrated artist too, maybe. I find much much deeper and mysterious than when I was first listening to him 25 years ago. Like there is something he has been wanting to tell us but only wants to fully reveal in 50 years from now. Strange.

So, in the 90's, in order to enter virtual reality, you needed to hook yourself up to a computer and let someone hypnotize you? Makes sense. These days it's much simpler: put a weird box over your eyes and hook the box up to a computer.

Vapourwave before it was cool.

This album was kind of ahead of its time in a way. It's like a condensed object of pure 90s nostalgia.

In the early to the mid 90s there was the cyberdelic counterculture, but it was probably a bit premature. I associate it with the first wave of VR that failed commercially, because it was out of reach for the average person (other than at special events/arcades). We're pretty much at that point again, but it's now within reach for the average joe. One way to look at it is that we were being shown people flying through fully-immersive 3D virtual worlds together, whereas in reality, we were just starting to look at static 2D Web pages and chat with people outside of our regions over slow dial-up modems. 25 years later and that prior vision is almost the case.

An album soooo far ahead of it's time! Reminds me of Styx "Kilroy Was Here"! Which ironically was a futuristic concept of androids taking over! The listening public simply not ready! Mind maturity of the music simply not there! Both Masterpieces!
