In the metal world if you mention Iced Earth everyone goes, oh shit yeah they kick ass, but it's as if they forgot about them and you reminded them how awesome they were. They're one of those bands that everyone likes and respects, but never gained the popularity of an Iron Maiden or a Metallica. Truth be told, Iced Earth is one of the  greatest metal bands of all time. they are real, authentic, classic metal and deserve to be mentioned amongst the gods of metal.

I just discovered ice earth wow I am amazed

I am listening to Nevermore/Sanctuary (if you like Iced Earth check them out, Godless Endeavor, one of best Albums) since 5 years or so, was looking for something new and stumbled across this, awesome song, eager to discover more

I used to listen to this sound track religiously when i was in high school. I related so much to this song and other songs because of the pain i felt from all the bullying i suffered. Their lyrics are just so powerful, and it really pulls out your emotions. I still listen to this bands old stuff from time to time even 20 years later.

Iced earth was never iced earth without Matt Barlow. Even thou John Shaffer writes all the music as far as I'm concerned Tim ripper Owens is good. And I actually liked the glorious burden for instance. Still I think horror show is their best album. Wolf. Jack. The phantom opera ghost and so on.

This song kicks ass! When this album came out, me, my boyfriend and his brother jammed on this especially this song. Then suddenly my boyfriend’s brother dropped dead of a heart attack at age 36 on July 4th ‘99 and my boyfriend could never listen to this song again. So heartbreaking. But 4 years ago, my boyfriend from back then passed away of cancer, so now he’s reunited with his brother and I bet they are jammin’ to this in Heaven! RIP my boys. I miss and love you both ❤️
