Iced Earth - Greenface Lyrics
A warrior down to the depths of my soul
I terrorize evil thats out of control.
On land, in the air, at sea
On danger I feed
My warpaint, the last things my enemies see
On land, in the air, at sea
I'll be where the metal meets the meat
GREENFACE
GREENFACE
Lagoons deep in the jungles are home for me
The desert nor mountains, they can't hide from me
On land, in the air, at sea
I'll be where the metal meets the meat
GREENFACE

Iced Earth Greenface Comments
In the Vietnam Conflict, "Green Face" was a nickname given by the Viet Cong and NVA to US Navy SEALs, at the time they were just badass frogmen. While typical infantry wore camo face paint into battle in a mix of colors (dark green, light green, black and brown), the SEALs usually wore light green drab for some reason. But the SEALs abilities in combat scared the enemy so much, they believed SEALs were superhumans. They'd usually only catch a glimpse from a distance, watching them kill sentries and plant explosives, then they'd slip away into a body of water.
I'm bringing green face for the Grande finale... #punygods
