Human Nature - You Keep Me Hangin' On Lyrics

Set me free why doncha babe
Get out of my life why doncha babe
Cuz you don't really love me, you just keep me hangin' on
You don't really need me but ya keep me hangin' on

Why do ya keep a'comin' around playin' with my heart
Why doncha get out of my life and let me make a new start
Let me get over you the way you've gotten over me-hey

Set me free why doncha babe
Let me be why doncha babe
Cuz you don't really love me, you just keep me hangin' on
Now you don't really want me, you just keep me hangin' on

You say although we broke up you still wanna be just friends
But how can we still be friends when seein' you only breaks my heart again

[Spoken:]

Whoa-oh-oh

Set me free why doncha babe (whoa-oh-oh)
Get out of my life why doncha babe (whoa-oh-oh)
Set me free why doncha babe
Get out of my life why doncha babe

You claim you still care for me but your heart and soul need to be free
And now that you've got your freedom you want to still hold on to me
You don't want me or yourself so let me find somebody else, hey hey

Why doncha be a man about it and set me free
Now you don't care a thing about me, you're just usin' me-go on
Get out, get out of my life and let me sleep at night

[Fade:] you don't really love me, you just

    Ummm... awkward. 7.

    Katya is gorgeous!!!

professional dancer janette is absolutely fantastic, but bring back nicole cutler, lilya and flavia and strictly would be even better. their technique with feetwork, leg action and hip action were spot on. true professional dancers who kept everything moving but were neat and compact. they were aware of every movement and every spot they were supposed to hit and all dance with similiar, specific... what i said above lol this goes for matthew cutler and artem.
btw, ian waite and natalie lowe stunning to watch together in ballroom.
i find some of the professional pale in comparison. looove kevin

Still had my vote for Joe and Katya for the cha cha cha, it seems that Joe was in some kind of agony with his foot or something else, and the dance steps that Joe & Katya are doing this saturday night is the Paso Doble and me and my husband will be looking forward to be watching our favourites, Really do hope Joe & Katya really do win.

  5. I.... L....

I so wanted this to go well. I'm a huge fan of Joe and this song is amazing but it wasn't the best. I hope he picks himself up for next week!

  6. K.... K....

His moves are a little out of time a lot of the time here. I think he's just being a little too tentative with his moves and that disadvantages him - if he can balance accuracy with power and moving confidently through the moves, he'll do much better. I love them both and want them to stay in!
Katya's moves are bloody electric (!) and I guess that highlights the flaws. I recognise though that it's of course not useful to compare them against each other - I'm glad that she's pushing him and of all the "journeys" that could happen this series, I am so invested in this one :)

  7. M.... ....

    delicious

  8. C.... D....

I think Joe's problem is he's thinking about it too much... I think if he just let his hair down and enjoyed what he was doing and essentially forget he was competing in that moment, he might actually fair much better...

  9. L.... V....

Goodness me Joe... underwhelmed I have to say. The last 30 seconds of the dance he seemed to completely forget his steps. His legs were positioned horribly, bent like that. Very unlike Joe. 5.

  10. K.... K....

I found this Cha Cha to be very messy my least fav dance of the night I'm afraid.
Joe looked very uncomfortable in this dance not his dance unfortunately

  11. M.... M....

Not as good as last week but a good try. 6

  12. D.... B....

wondering if he has an injury because he wasn't moving that well tonight - hopefully he comes back stronger next week...

    D.... B....

I read in one of the papers that he was suffering badly with sore feet. Don't know if it's true of course but could explain the grimacing?

    D.... B....

that would make sense because he looked like he was in pain.

  13. p.... a....

Oh no, more bad free arms, 70% was solo and it was more hip hop than Cha Cha Cha, hopefully he is better next week although the door was a bad idea, I think it wasted loads of time and Katya showed off Joe too much, I think because he has potential but it just isn't working, also the choreography is angry and Cha Cha Cha is happy, 6

  14. M.... ....

Joe is a little too inconsistent for me. He was walking around as if he had constipation through half of this dance. Shame really. A 4 from me.

  15. T.... M....

Not your best dance Joe. I do feel Cha Cha is hard for a man, but I was expecting more to be honest. His inconsistency is starting to be an issue.I feel he's got bags of potential and I hope he's safe this week. I wish Katya would stop faffing around with props(closets, doors) in their routines. He's better than Ed Balls, you don't need a distraction.

  16. I.... ....

He is my favourite on the show~ I'm really rooting for him ❤️

  17. m.... g....

not his best dance but he did give it a real good go

  18. S.... W....

His legs were so wide in his cha-cha walk and overall, the routine was awkard. Shame, he was much better in previous weeks.

    6/10

  19. L.... D....

Is it me or is Katya's choreography a bit 'aggressive' this year? Can't quite put my finger on it; still think she's great though!

    L.... D....

Well this is only her second year and last time she did have Ed Balls... This is probably what she likes to do with people who show a more natural ability for dance than dearest Ed (don't get me wrong, I thought he was charming).

  20. S.... C....

Rather awkward throughout, looked like he'd sooner be somewhere else.

  21. V.... S....

The storytelling was excellent, but his facial expressions were wildly out of place all the way through, his walk near the start looked awkward and his hands were in all sorts of ugly positions - 6.

  22. S.... ....

Gave him all my votes this week because I think he's in danger and he's a lot better than this dance.

  23. l.... j....

Very awkward. Huge steps and open legs as the judges said... not great sadly. The door stuff was annoying imo.

He'll be fine, hope they have another Ballroom dance next week as it seemed he made a real breakthrough last week.

    l.... j....

I think the storytelling with the door worked quite well actually. Although I agree with what you said about the steps.

  24. A.... l....

    Go Go Joe

  25. B.... ....

I was pretty disappointed with this. I thought it looked ok in training, and then there was this. Any basic cha cha in it wasn't executed as well as it could be, and it didn't feel like he was giving it 100% for some reason. The jive is fading slowly away, maybe he's a ballroom guy.

  26. D.... S....

I wasn't keen on the choreography... to much messing with the door. His connection to the floor wasn't good, his knees were bent, his movement were sharp, he didn't accent the beats with this footwork... he made too many mistakes. He acted the dance very well and his musicality was good, but he didn't show any understanding of the basic principals of the cha cha cha technique (how to transfer the weight, how to move the hips, how the legs show work...). Sadly, A 5.

  27. M.... M....

yeah he was really good last week what happend this week

  28. R.... M....

Basic cha cha walks weren't great nor most of it, maybe nerves got to him?

    Liked the new yorkers though.

    6.

  29. S.... O....

Eh? What happened? He looked great during the ITT training session, and this is like, erm. What's wrong with his cha-cha legs? Surely he's not bow-legged but he looks like the bow-legs in his walk doesn't belong to Joe. I am disappointed! 6

    S.... O....

GoAway, I am going to wager that he actually might do a rumba much better because it is slower. It's strange as many not-formally dance-trained male celebs fared better with cha-cha than with rumba. I have seen Katya drilling him into doing the proper cha-cha walk as evidenced from those ITT training footage. He did well when he appeared to have the time to work out the mechanics of his feet to create the hip action effect. This song is just too quick for him right now to generate the correct motion, it's like there is a mal-function with his legs or something, very weird and awkward to watch, his most awkward routine to date...
