7 years waiting for ordinary engagement ring. I don't think so, there have to be some SERIOUS extenuating circumstances to convince of that.

To all the people that are saying "7 Years? You should know by then." I have a counter argument. That is what society tells us. Society also tells us that getting married too early is also a problem. I work in a Jewlrey store. And a couple months ago this married couple came in. They were looking at this lion necklace. The husband walked off somewhere and the wife told me she wanted to buy it because he has been her Lion for all their marriage.

I asked then how long they had been married and she said "We've been married for 31 years. I met him on a Friday. Didn't see him saturday and that Sunday he proposed to me. I said yes and haven't regretted it for a single second." I put this on God, that woman told me that's how fast he proposed and that's how fast she knew she wanted to be with him.

Most people would say that's absolutely insane. Who gets married after 2 days? Technically 1. Time is irrelevant to anyone and everyone outside of that relation. If you are ready you are ready. If you aren't you aren't. And that is for ALL relationships. 1 year 7 years, 10 years.

Ladies if a man's agenda doesn't match up with yours, then find one that lines up with yours. Whether that is too soon or too late.

Fellas the same for you. If a womans agenda does not align with yours, then find someone's that does.

Absolutely! A real, respectful man will marry u and grow and learn together. They would never allow u to be viewed as less than or sideways due to his hesitation to commit to u. It most likely isn't the woman with issues, but society as a whole views it differently and a true, respectful & respectable man wouldn't allow it. The song is great, but it isn't something people should adore or emulate.

I'm a R&B head & this was one of the songs that I had to hear everyday: D.Hollister's "Forever", J.Foxx "Wedding Day song" & Musiq's "Who Knows".
