How this incredible piece of rockabilly managed to slip through Columbia Records’ anti-Rock & Roll radar is beyond me! This number ranks right up there with one of Gene Vincent & his Blue Caps’ best. Awesome!

This guy had a unique style all of his own, great artist with a fantastic catalogue of songs. Love his music I wish I could invent a time machine and go back to the 50's Louisianna Hayride venues to witness the rise of Elvis and to hear Johnny Horton sing live. That generation were so privileged I realy envy them. They had the best music by the best artists and some mean fashion. You lucky lot, a blessed generation who experienced that era, it must have been fab. Totally Jealous.

First heard this track in the 90's it still sounds as amazing now as it did then. Probably my favourite track by this artist.
