This song is about surviving abusive relationships, and moving on with life. It can apply to anyone, regardless of sex, who is fed up with being lied to, manipulated, threatened, blackmailed, insulted, battered, or brainwashed into submission to the abuser. This song should be an anthem for anyone who has escaped a narcissist's control and has decidex to go "no contact".
It can also apply to messed up parents

Heart didn't like this song? I HAVE LIVED THESE LYRICS in my life and they empowered me so strongly! This is definitely a track that should've had a video that depicted the reversal of abuse and the victim rising above and showing who's the real strong one in the matter. DEFINITELY a song for people with "power over you" issues and control freaks. I'm glad the poster put this up. The audio is excellent....just like the song.
