Heart - Pilot Lyrics

Doesn't it look good for flying
Can't wait for high noon to fall into night
Put out my arms the air just takes me
Rising moon calls me into the sky

Up, up I go
Searching on my radio

Pilot through time
Spirit flying
Move with mine
Out of time

Pilot I fell through
From the blue
I just flew
Into you

If the air is high and I hear the moon
I'll find you alright
Wherever you're hiding in the night
I know it won't be long
Your signal's getting strong

Pilot through time
Spirit flying
Move with mine
Out of time

Pilot I fell through
From the blue
I just flew
Into you

    'Pilot'

    Recorded in December 1979

Released on the 'Bebe le Strange' album ........... February 14, 1980

    A soft-rock beat.........

At this time in 1979, Kim Carnes was making some noise as having the best
'raspy voice', and there was Martha Davis of 'The Motels' who was one smooth
    singing kitten.

Did Ann Wilson take some liberty here...................by borrowing a few stylish
verses from the other up-and-coming female singers.......

  17. B.... J....

Awesome to a beautiful sound at balance

Incredible that this nice song ended up as a B-side, it's really a fine, dreamy tune, I feel like lying spreadeagled on my back on a pinky fluffy cloud, listening to this...

I like this song a lot. Even though it's not a hit (it was the B-side of "Even It Up"), it's still a great song; very soft, mellow and a nice bit of easy listening.
