Dearest Darren Hayes, how can I say this? This song expresses so much my eternal heartbreak for the loss of the only Man I will ever consider to be my Husband at this time. I am so utterly broken - he fell in love with Meth and left me behind, one day after kissing and holding me goodbye, and 4 days later he was found dead interstate alone, after I begged him to not do anything stupid. He sadly looked in my direction that final time and said "You know me". I held and loved him every single day and I cry so much for him! He knew and loved you as I do too. If you read this, I gently ask you: what can I possibly do? He died at 35 with all of life ahead of him but I am broken and will always adore him :'(
