Harrison, George - Crackerbox Palace Lyrics

I was so young when I was born
My eyes could not yet see
And by the time of my first dawn
Somebody holding me . . . they said

I welcome you to Crackerbox Palace
We've been expecting you
You bring such joy in Crackerbox Palace
No matter where you roam know our love is true

While growing up or trying to
Not knowing where to start
I looked around for someone who
May help reveal my heart - someone said

While you're a part of Cracerbox Palace
Do what the rest all do
Or face the fact that Crackerbox Palace
May have no other choice than to deport you

I welcome you to Crackerbox Palace
We've been expecting you
You bring us joy in Crackerbox Palace
No matter where you roam know our love is true

Sometimes are good . . . sometimes are bad
That's all a part of life
And standing in between them all
I met a Mr. Grief - and he said

I welcome you to Crackerbox Palace
Was not expecting you
Let's rap and tap at Crackerbox Palace
Know that the Lord is well and inside of you

[Chorus]

That was his mantra " cracker box palace "

  21. R.... P....

I think George Harrison was the MOST talented BEATLE. He actually was the FIRST Beatle to release a solo album. And it happened to be a double album called "All things must pass" with the first single "My Sweet Lord" becoming a MEGA hit that EVEN eclipsed some of the BEATLES BIGGEST hits! Take that Paul John and Ringo!!!!

Friar Park is in Henley on Thames, west of London. George paid £140,000 in January 1970 a fortune in those days. This 120 room property had a ballroom and library and was in awful condition but with George's wealth he transformed it into a magnificent mansion with stunning gardens. The superb tiered ponds can be seen in the video and if you search on YouTube you can see some of the gardens. George installed a recording studio and it was known as FPSHOT (friar park studio Henley on Thames) again this can be seen in some videos on YouTube if you are interested.e

  23. S.... F....

  28. V.... V....

the sound of this song is so magic... a song that is aged 1977. Great George

  29. G.... L....

0:16 dude just couldnt hold it together

  45. D.... M....

George Harrison and Ringo Starr were definitely the best singers from The Beatles. It's just sad George is gone now

  46. J.... R....

Does my eye spy the wonderful Neil Innes doing a David Walliams impersonation with the pram? Rutles rule! Those Beatles are good and all but they never reached 'Goose-Step Mama' levels of brilliance

  47. E.... Z....

“I was born at the very young age of 0” - George Harrison apparently

So THAT'S where Danny Avidan got his hair!

  89. J.... K....

Can't stop watching it, so wonderfully absurd! And in fact a depiction of a 1984-ish nightmare, very real to many people in many lands ('if you don't do as the others do, we might have to deport you.').

  90. B.... N....

Actually me while they got my wisdom teeth out.
