As much as he has a great voice, i don't enjoy this version as much as Reneé bishop's version. It just isn't as soulful anf heartfelt as his.

I'm a Filipino and based on my experience watching this, I don't find his voice to be something that I should be amazed. Maybe its because we have different standards. His voice possibly won't win in an amateur singing competition in our country. any Filipino who think the same way as I do?

Given a deep bass voice, , never having sung publicly before, at party in a big room, housing about three hundred people, i got roped into singing this karaoke style, i new the tune but not the words, so had to follow the tune. This guy is singing at about the speed I tried to do. This same song. But the music went faster, so I was playing catch up, missing out occassional words. It went down a storm, I was really nervous. Sitting down at our table afterwards, with friends, a lady professional singer came across and asked if Id sing a duet with her. Sadly, I was pleased to have already escaped stardom and was far too nervous to even contemplate a duet , much less with a professional singer.

One of the best versions I have ever heard of this song and it’s one of my favorites from my childhood growing up listening to Elvis Presley. Dancing with my father around the living room standing on his feet on Saturday mornings...brings back many great and truly sad hard memories and emotions especially since my father lost his fight with brain cancer back in 2008 when he decided his own fate instead of the cancer by choosing when to go instead of waiting and suffering for the last remaining months his doctors gave him by committing suicide. Elvis will always be my link to my father and the memories of have that are the good ones and not the bad. So it’s always great to hear someone sing an Elvis song and give it the justice it deserves.
