I wasn't really interested in it and was just that moment where I had to open the door for her and when I said hi she just ignored me and again when I had to go to the canteen and she walked past. The problem with "Desire" is the same reason why Geri prefers to do pop songs over R&B songs: The track or beats of this song are too prevalent, & overshadow the melody. Although Geri isn't known for being a great singer, her past hits have all had really good melodies which made them successful. This song has too strong of a beat which makes it more R&B or Hip-hop like, unlike a typical Geri Halliwell / Spice Girls style pop song, where the beats compliment the melody instead of taking over.
