I went to their concert in Tampa, Florida. This my favorite song. My Dad took me to it. 2018 !!!!!!!! 😀

It's different, but Muse did the same thing with "Thought Contagion", the song that they just made a few months before, "Dig Down" sounds like something they make normally. Same thing goes for "supermassive black hole" that was before "Dig Down". "Supermassive Black Hole" didn't really sound that much like Muse either, just like "Thought Contagion", but it was. Artists try different things but they don't normally give up on their Style. They had to fit in with Train. It's not a terrible song and I'm sure the rest of their music on the Album will sound normal.

We took our 9 year old son Zen to the Tampa concert last night! It was amazing! He was the only one around us that knew this entire song! He knows every single Hall and Oates song by heart! Thank you guys for giving my little the most amazing experience of his life!

I love this! I am a Hall & Oates fan and they do a great job of putting together a modern day pop hit. I feel some of the more subtle parts of the song (like the classic 70s R&B guitar riff at 50 seconds) get overlooked by people because this doesn't sound like classic Hall & Oates. I dig it and I hope this turns into a new album for them!

You are right. They don't really know them. Hall & Oates is not "this" or "that"... they are music. They can do anything because they know how to do it and they don't limit themselves to one thing. This is what makes them so delightful and timeless. It's music. Not labels. Only they can make such different albums and do it the right way! Greetings from Argentina!

Seriously?? I was so excited when i found out Daryl Hall had a new song out, since his last album (Laughing Down Crying) was from 2011 and was excellent! But when i heard this i was very disappointed! This is not the Daryl Hall we all know and love :( This is just your run of the mill auto-tune electronic hipster music. I hope Daryl releases something more of his style soon....

Last original album 'Do It For Love' had several songs on heavy easy listening airplay, with the title track even going to number 1 a few years ago. Search YouTube for Man on a Mission, Do It For Love, Forever For You,
Etc. They were even nominated for a grammy for their performance of Sara Smile from the album Live at the Troubadour (the same year Black Eyed Peas won in the same category for I've Got A Feeling).

iconic Music evolves. It’s part of the business, similar to Bon Jovi with “It’s My Life” and U2 with “Beautiful Day.” This is the type of music that can grab new listeners and possibly intrigue them enough to look up the older stuff. Just chill, it’s actually a good song.

Iconic, I respect your opinion as it definitely is not similar to their classic songs from the 70s and 80s. But I think the genius is still there (listen for the Classic 70s R&B guitar riff at 50 seconds). Sadly Hall & Oates have become kind of forgotten over the years and this could be a great way to introduce their amazing catalog to a new generation that gets hooked on this song :)
