I was a New York cab driver when I first heard this. The next night while on duty I got through to CD 101.9 and requested that they play it and they did at 3:00 am. Now it is my theme song. Beautiful and true.

I remember this song from when I was a child, I was raised by my grandma who only listen to smooth jazz or gospel music! Riding around downtown Chicago listening to smooth jazz at night all those pretty buildings,bright lights a city that never sleep, it made me wish for so much and I TRULY understand why they say it the small things that count because those late night drive stuck with me and was one of the highlights of my life!
